Waco Baptist Academy Unveils New Name & Brand as Eagle Christian Academy

Janice Monson, Principal of Waco Baptist Academy, along with the board of directors for the school and highly involved parents and alumni are proud to announce the school will be known going forward as Eagle Christian Academy.

Founded in 1984, the school has been a leader in private Christian education for students Pre-K through 8th grade in the greater Waco area. Looking to continue the excellence the school is known for and build momentum into the future, the school is changing its name as well as launching a new brand that emphasizes four key areas:

  • Leadership
  • Excellence
  • Community
  • Christian

“Waco Baptist Academy holds a precious place in the hearts of all our alumni, families, students and staff,” said Monson. “As we move into the future, we are excited about the new identity of the school as well as the enhanced brand we have developed. We believe in our mission and will continue to live it out daily.”

The school adopted a new mission statement that incorporates its four areas of focus: “Eagle Christian Academy is building and equipping leaders with a Christian worldview in greater Waco through excellence by empowering students to engage their gifts and talents to make an impact and a difference in their world.”

In addition to the school identity change, ECA is also unveiling a new logo, website, social media, video content, advertising campaign and accompanying collateral as a part of its marketing strategy for 2016 and beyond.

The school’s new look will be unveiled at an event on May 26, 2016 starting at 6:30pm in the school chapel (6125 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX 76710).
